Ecotubix is a pioneering company with a critical mission: to eradicate single-use plastic straws by manufacturing a high-quality, biodegradable alternative. Poised to enter the booming global market for sustainable F&B supplies, Ecotubix specializes in colorful paper straws designed for cold beverages, adhering to the worldwide trend of plastic ban initiatives.

However, to compete effectively across diverse international markets, the company needed more than just a great product, it required a powerful, resonant brand identity that was instantly recognizable, legally sound, and strategically positioned for global growth.

The Challenge


The client was poised to enter the rapidly expanding, globally conscious market for sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics. They needed more than just a product; they needed a strong, resonant international brand identity that could immediately communicate their ecological values while being dynamic and memorable.

The initial hurdle: How do you launch a high-quality, eco-friendly product into diverse international markets with a single, compelling voice?

SRP was tasked with a complete brand development, from ground zero, ensuring the brand and its assets (from naming to packaging) were export-ready, legally sound, and instantly recognizable as a premium, sustainable choice.

Our Solution: Brand DNA & Dynamic Identity

SRP Communication & Brand Design approached the project with a comprehensive strategy, focusing on three core pillars: name and logo creation, Brand System Development, and Digital Presence.

Naming & Logo: The Perfect Blend of Eco and Fun

We created the name Ecotubix, a portmanteau designed for international use and high recognition.

  • "ECO" immediately signals the brand's core mission: biodegradability and environmental friendliness.
  • "TUBIX" provides a playful, memorable nod to the product itself, the "tube" (straw), giving the brand a lively, consumer-friendly touch.

The logo design reinforced this duality: The prominent green "ECO" is balanced by the playful typography of "TUBIX". The letter "O" in Ecotubix is ingeniously transformed into a stylized, compact graphic of a refreshing drink with a straw, instantly communicating the product’s use and a sense of fun.

TV Coverage: Ecotubix's successful presence on television, delivering sustainability with a fun and engaging approach to mass viewers.

Full Brand System Development

Beyond the core identity, we built a complete visual and verbal system:

  • Packaging Design: We developed a modular packaging system, including different types of boxes tailored to specific needs (e.g., bulk catering packs, small retail boxes) and a line of ecological bags for retail sales. The design language was clean, modern, and utilized sustainable-looking materials to reinforce the eco-message.
  • Wording & Tone of Voice: We defined the brand's voice as authoritative yet accessible, focusing on the product's high quality ("Use with cold drinks," "Premium paper") and its positive environmental impact.
  • Iconography: We designed a suite of clear, scalable icons to communicate key product features (e.g., "100% Biodegradable," "Cold Drinks Only," "Variety of Colors") for use on the website and packaging.

Market Strategy & Digital Launch

We collaborated on the initial marketing strategy and tactics, leveraging the strong visual identity for maximum impact:

  • Website Development: We designed and developed the complete website, ensuring a smooth user experience, clean aesthetics, and clear presentation of the product and its sustainable benefits. All website wording was crafted to be professional, compelling, and SEO-friendly.
  • Product Placement: We supported the launch with targeted product placement strategies involving key influencers on social media platforms and lifestyle television programs, ensuring the new product was seen being used in appealing contexts.
